"This was one of the last songs that we wrote for the album," says Ben. "We had been working up a few emotionally darker, heavier tracks and the idea with Time Has No Mercy, which is about seizing the moment and believing in yourself, was to write something lighter and more upbeat.
It's a little more of a punk rock approach than I would normally take, but it still feels familiar enough to sit on the album."

Finland’s Queen of the Slide Guitar Erja Lyytinen is celebrating her 50th Birthday with a comprehensive, multi-format live album package that will see release on 9th October on Tuohi Records.

Available as a Double CD, 2LP and full-length DVD, '50th Birthday Live 2026' was recorded at the prestigious House of Culture, known as Kultsa, in Helsinki on 21st March.

Lister joins When Rivers Meet and Russ Ballard as main stage headliners of the 22nd/ 23rd/ 24th January festival held at The Imperial Hotel in Blackpool.

London based singer-songwriter and alt-folk artist Freya Everest has released a new single, 'Honey TV.'

Featuring cello, piano and minimal, abstract lyricism, 'Honey TV' is a harmony rich, dream-folk track that moves between surreal and prosaic; the results are a song that’s as charming as it is poetic.

Where debut single 'Moniqué' examined exposure and objectification, 'Honey TV' is about the opposite: the safety and warmth one feels when truly home.
"I was playing around with the words when the line 'here by the honey TV' emerged," explains Freya.
"I wondered what that could mean, what might a TV made of honey represent? To me it was sweet, decadent peace."
For Freya that meant sitting on the sofa with her cat and favourite people, chatting, snuggling, watching TV.
"There is a magical charm to these moments. I imagine the loving energies present creating a protective shield around you."

Freya Everest creates genre-blurring music that fuses alt-folk, jazz, art pop and electronic influences.
Her songwriting is often informed by visual art, as is the case with her upcoming EP project, which draws on visual works of art and personal experience to explore themes of gender, power, love, loss and freedom, pairing poetic storytelling with textured, atmospheric production.
