Our Year 5 and Year 6 learners have arrived safely at the Anderton Centre and are settling in ready for an exciting evening of activities, adventure and fun. We hope they have a fantastic time making memories with their friends, and we look forward to sharing updates from their visit. 🌟😊

We are excited to invite all families and friends to our Summer Fair, taking place this Wednesday 8th July from 4:30pm – 6:00pm.
The sun is set to shine, so we will be holding the fair on our playground and have lots of fun activities and stalls for everyone to enjoy!
One of the highlights of the evening is sure to be the Teacher Stocks, where children will have the chance to soak their teachers whilst they sit in the stocks, guaranteed fun and laughter for all!

Today, 3JC visited Lostock Hall Library as part of a community walk. The class represented the school brilliantly and enjoyed exploring their local environment together.

In Maths, 4AC have recently been measuring the yard in metre's. Also during their work experience at White Hough, they have been unearthing a large tree stump, as well as weeding and power washing paths around the site. Well done 4AC!

Maple Class have been exploring Chinese food as part of their topic on Ancient China. On Friday, the children took part in preparing their own stir fry, carefully chopping and washing vegetables such as bok choy. The experience was a wonderful success, and Maple Class absolutely loved tasting the delicious dish they had created together!

Today, a small group of our learners who attend Preston Vocational Centre had the exciting opportunity to visit our new build. They spent time exploring the site and gaining valuable insights into different aspects of the building trade, which they will be able to take back and build upon in their work at PVC.

Our primary children had a wonderful time enjoying a special visit from some ducklings just before half term. It was a lovely hands-on experience, and the learners were fascinated watching and caring for them.
