Reception had a brilliant time at Sharoe Green Library 📗💚
Alison very kindly gave the children a welcome pack to bring home in case anybody was thinking of joining the library.
The children listened beautifully to the story of 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' and enjoyed looking at lots of different books. They also did an amazing job walking to and from the library and were a real credit to the school. Well done Reception!

MYSTERY READERS!
Some of our KS1 classes have loved their recent mystery readers.....
If you would like to take part, please send a message to class teachers and we can offer you a date that suits you. You are very welcome to bring your own favourite story, or you can choose a book from our class library.
We hope this will be a lovely way to share a love of reading and build excitement as the children look forward to finding out who our special guest reader will be!
Thank you for your support 💚

In HRSE, Year 4 set themselves the goal of learning the song Little Blue by Jacob Collier. Through this process, they explored the importance of resilience and hope, learning how perseverance and a positive mindset can help when challenges arise. They proudly performed the song to the rest of the school, demonstrating both their musical achievement and personal growth.

🎨 Macro Photography in Year 6! 📸
This week, Year 6 explored macro photography — inspired by Edward Weston’s stunning close-ups of natural objects. Working in pairs, the children photographed fruits and vegetables, focusing on the tiny shapes, patterns and textures we often miss. They showed brilliant teamwork and creativity throughout!
Take a look at some of our close-ups below… can you guess the fruit or veg? 🥕🍋📷
