🌟 What a day that was! 🌟
Our Open Day was a wonderful celebration of everything that makes our school so special, with so much going on! From maypole dancing and table tennis to exciting classroom activities, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
And then came the piece de résistance – the unveiling of our new Roman signpost, perfectly timed to coincide with the archaeological dig and the exciting discovery of a Roman road nearby! 🏛️🛡️
A huge thank you to our amazing Year 6 tour guides, who did an incredible job of showing visitors around and really ‘selling our school’. We couldn’t have asked for better ambassadors! Also to the PTFA supporting with refreshments and our wonderful staff. 👏
We were also delighted to welcome our Mayor Sandra Perkins, along with many other special guests from across our wonderful community including the diocese. Thank you all for joining us and helping to make the day so memorable.
Our school really is a hidden gem, and we are incredibly proud to have had the opportunity to show it off! 💚✨

⛪ Aspen Class Visits Lancaster Cathedral! ⛪This week, our fantastic Aspen Class took a trip to Lancaster Cathedral as part of their RE curriculum.A huge thank you to Father Miller, who gave the children a wonderful guided tour. The students stepped back in time to explore the rich history of the cathedral while learning all about the origins and traditions of the Catholic faith.It was a brilliant day of learning outside the classroom! 🌿🐞 Hazel Class have already been busy this academic year! 🐞🌿
Our children have been putting their Forest School skills to good use as they explore our very own ‘hidden gem’ – the school field! 🌳🍂
They have loved discovering God’s wonderful world, searching for bugs, exploring different habitats and getting curious about the amazing wildlife all around us. 🐛🕷️🌱
So many wonderful opportunities for learning, exploring and enjoying the great outdoors! 💚🌍
