Ceramics at UCLan This site communicates thoughts, ideas and events related to the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) MA Ceramics Course.

Please note this page is NOT an official University of Central Lancashire site. It is a means of sharing interesting thoughts and ideas related to Contemporary Ceramics. It also allows us to communicate events and share the successes of our MA Ceramics students. UCLAN has over forty years experience delivering high quality undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Ceramics. The MA Ceramics course has a track record of producing Ceramic artists and designers of the highest calibre. Many have gone on to develop very successful professional careers in Ceramics, with a number of students winning prizes in international Ceramics competitions in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hungary and Spain. The course is rooted in workshop and studio practice, with a strong emphasis on creative thinking, making and reflective practice. The courses are delivered by a dedicated, enthusiastic and experienced team of tutors and technicians, some of whom are themselves internationally acclaimed artists and makers.
