We had the unbelievable opportunity to attend the first ever Lancashire Education and Learning awards last night. We celebrated so many amazing children. We are soooo proud of our pupil Aliza who won an award for outstanding progress!

She arrived into England with limited language and was later identified as deaf. Over the last 18 months she has learnt BSL and her progress is amazing. She accesses lessons, communicates with staff and peers and has been a wonderful role model to others. Despite adversity she has shown true resilience and determination to achieve. We are so proud of you! Thank you Giulia for your beautiful message!

Oak class have been learning all about sustainability and their carbon footprint. As a final piece the children worked together to create games to show their understanding. These were outstanding! Well done Oak class! You should be proud!

Willow class visited Deaf Way as part of Deaf Awareness week! They presented to the residents, sold cakes and played sports! What a great way to end Deaf Awareness Week 💙❤️

We have had such a wonderful day today with Euxton St Mary’s Catholic Primary School. All the children and staff thoroughly enjoyed the day. Our pupils celebrated Deaf Awareness week and helped raise awareness of how the wider community can help the Deaf community. It was fantastic watching the children play and communicate showing us all exactly how amazing they all are! Thank you.
