Lancashire Professional Development Service is a traded service within Lancashire County Council. We have been providing high-quality, professional training and development for over twenty-five years. The team offer a comprehensive range of consultancies, courses and conferences which cover the full range of curriculum, teaching and learning, and leadership needs. Our well established and highly regarded team of Teaching and Learning Consultants design tailor-made professional learning opportunities and consultancy packages for schools, multi-academy trusts, clusters and other settings. LPDS support is readily available across Lancashire, the North West and further afield.

Learning never stops at Ightenhill Primary School!

Last night, our staff took part in an inspiring professional development session led by Sarah Atkinson, Primary English and Literacy Consultant(Lancashire Professional Development Service - LPDS focusing on effective approaches to the teaching of spelling.

It was a fantastic opportunity for teachers to strengthen their practice, share ideas and explore strategies that will help our pupils. ✏️📖

We are committed to continually developing our expertise so that every child receives the very best learning experiences. 🌟
