Background

Stagecoach Theatre Arts have been nurturing and developing young people's potential for over 21 years. With over 700 schools worldwide and more than 40,000 students, Stagecoach is the longest running and most successful performing arts schools network in the world. We not only deliver quality performance arts training but ensure that each child gets the most out of their experience by building life skills and confidence while having a lot of fun and meeting new friends. Every student from aged 4-18 years participates in each of the three musical theatre disciplines - Drama, Dance and Singing. Each three hour session for 6-18 year olds is split into three 1-hour classes, where young people get the chance to learn each skill in small class sizes of similar ages. Children aged 4-6 years are introduced to Stagecoach through Early Stages classes which run for a shorter period of 90 minutes, split into three 30 minute sessions in dance, drama and singing. As we keep class sizes small (15 maximum) we are able to nurture young raw talent alongside encouraging and inspiring those who might need additional confidence building. Disclaimer

Stagecoach teachers are inspirational because they unlock potential, model empathy, and transform students lives 🧡💛🖤
Here are just a few of the fantastic things that our teachers do week on week 🥰

🎵Spotting strengths: 💪Teachers often recognise a student’s hidden talent before the student sees it themselves !
🎵Building self-esteem: 👏Simple moments of encouragement help students move from “I can’t” to “I did,” boosting long-term confidence !
🎵Demonstrating resilience: 📶Sharing personal stories of overcoming failure teaches students how to bounce back from their own setbacks !
🎵Fostering belonging: 🫂They turn any environment into a safe space where every student can express themselves and find their place !
🎵Inspiring teamwork: 🧑‍🤝‍🧑They help to unite and promote teamwork amongst students to work toward a shared, collective goal !
🎵Build Creative Courage For Life 💛🧡🖤 AND SO MUCH MORE👏💪🥰

The Greatest Night Of Our Life 🌟✨

What a performance ! 👏

Our wonderful Preston performance troupe , had the chance to perform , with the fantastic Opera Boys, with Paul Potts at Blackpool Grand Theatre 🤩

It was such a varied programme , from old school , current pop , classic musical theatre - such an array of delight for the audience !

We hope the audience and families had as much of a brilliant time that the students had up on stage ! What an opportunity 🤩

⭐️ HARRIET CAPLAN-DEAN - PRO’S FROM THE SHOWS WORKSHOP ⭐️

30 of our Senior students had an incredible few hours on Sunday with our Queen, Harriet Caplan-Dean! 👑🖤

We started with a brilliant Q&A, where Harriet shared what life is really like working professionally in musical theatre. She’s currently appearing in High School Musical as part of the ensemble and as Dance Captain, having previously appeared in Six💜, &Juliet🩷, and so our students loved hearing about her experiences and having the chance to ask their questions !

Then it was time to get to work! We learnt some incredible choreography, integrating singing and performance skills at top speed too!

Such an inspiring few hours with someone our students know, love and look up to.

Thank you, Harriet ⭐️

Into stages and off we go - Sunday started back with a BANG💥💛🧡🖤
