Most people perform the basic bicep curl wrong.
They go too heavy and as a result, their elbows creep forwards.
This then activates the front deltoid in your shoulder, the muscle that you normally use for pressing movements.
Have you ever felt that burn right at the top of your arm on a heavy back and bicep Day?
That’s your front delt taking over
Instead, Try, this 👇
Feet planted with a slight bend in the knee to give yourself a good base.
Draw the shoulders back.
Perform the curl whilst keeping the elbows pinned back, don’t let them come forwards.
Allow your arms to go straight at the bottom of the movement or the eccentric phase, this will give you much more range of motion and you’ll get more out of the exercise.
