We used a whole variety of tuition books here at the music studio. It's good to have a wide variety of pieces to strengthen our knowledge. It's been nice this week to have some students completing their first main study book and receiving their first certificates. Also some note reading speed practice going on too!

Today is World Piano Day. The piano has 88 keys and today is the 88th day of the year.

Theory is fun. At least I think so, and so far my students do too. Little and often is my tried and tested approach.

1st Flute lesson this afternoon. We advanced to the full instrument and learnt 3 notes. But I was having too much fun to remember any pictures!

It's good to have a quick recap of the notes before we start a new piece. Second lesson and great progress. 😊

The new game went down well. We played pairs this week.

New game landing this week. A fun game to help with note recognition. It's going to be fun.
