from the Lancashire Police and Crime Commissioner is a campaign I fully support and endorse as a life-long feminist 🙌🏻
Did you know that Bamber Bridge Women’s Shed are currently conducting their own survey into Misogyny? 🤔

Angela and Clare from the Clayton and Whittle Family Centre recently came to talk to us about the work they do to support the children and families in that area.
They do a tremendous job.
We asked how we could help and they asked if we could buy some Self Harm Packs to give to the youngsters they help.
Lancashire Mind supply the packs and we sent for some.
It’s a sad fact, but these will be given to children in Years 5 and 6 who are struggling.
The packs are excellent.
We hope they’ll help - if it’s only a bit - to let these children know that someone cares.

Good luck to these young superstars. All the members of SI Preston support everything you do. ⛹️♀️🏆🏆🏆
⚽🦅 We go again tomorrow at the Blackburn Eagles Tournament! 🦅⚽
Every time these girls step onto a football pitch, they make history. We are the first-ever girls’ team in Bamber Bridge’s history, and every match, every tournament, and every memory is helping build a legacy for the girls who will follow.
There is some fantastic competition tomorrow, but that’s exactly what grassroots football is all about. We don’t enter tournaments simply to win trophies – we enter them to develop, learn, improve, and challenge ourselves against the very best.
Please get behind our girls and cheer them on! We’ll keep everyone updated throughout the day.
Tomorrow isn’t just another tournament. It’s another chapter in the story of the first-ever Bamber Bridge Girls team.
Up The Brig! 💙⚽

Special night tonight down at Bamber Bridge 💙
We had two very special women come down to support us in our friendly tonight Councillor Emma Stevens for Bamber Bridge East and Karen Soroptimist International Preston These ladies have done so much behind the scenes for Bamber Bridge, helping with funding and supporting our girls, so it was lovely for them to finally meet the team and see the girls doing what they love most ⚽️
A huge thank you for all your support — it really does mean so much to us and the girls.
Also thank you to our opposition tonight, what a game! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. We tested out a few new positions, worked on different things and, most importantly, the girls had fun like always 🙌💙

Every day, women and girls across the UK experience abuse, but abusive behaviours can be hard to spot. They are often pretending to be something else. Control is camouflaging as care. Manipulation is mistaken for love. Sinister behaviours can slip by unnoticed.
It’s time to see these behaviours for what they are. Abuse.
Soroptimists say NO to Violence against Women and Girls!

That bra sitting in your drawer that no longer fits or you don't like the colour? It could do a lot of good!
We have bra banks at our Lancashire Women centres and we'd love your donations of used bras. These can be any type of bra (sports, wired or non-wired) as long as they're in good condition.
Every bra you drop off gets recycled (so nothing ends up in landfill), and for every kilogram we collect, 50p is donated back to Lancashire Women to support the women across our region who need us most.
A small act that makes a big difference!
Drop yours off at your nearest centre: https://lancashirewomen.org/our-centres/
