⭐️Monday 20th October - New Term - New Adventure ⭐️

New term begins! We are going on a Little Superhero Nursery Rhyme Adventure! Places are filling up. Be sure to book your spot as soon as possible 🏃🏃🏃

How many nursery rhymes can you spot on our floor picture?

Did you know ....

Children's early literacy skills are about oral mastery, rather than reading and writing and research has shown that children who know 8 nursery rhymes off by heart at age 4, are amongst the best at spelling and reading by Year 3!!

All the more reason to bring nursery rhymes alive in our physical play!

💚🌳 Little Superheroes Outdoors 🌳💚

At Superhero Sports Academy, we believe every child deserves the freedom to explore, move and grow in the great outdoors. The fresh air, open spaces, and endless possibilities are like a natural playground for young superheroes. 💫

Here are 5 amazing benefits of getting children outdoors in the early years:

1️⃣ Freedom to Move – running, jumping, climbing … big spaces mean big movements that build strength, stamina, and confidence.

2️⃣ Boosts Wellbeing – time in nature reduces stress and supports emotional regulation.

3️⃣ Imagination Ignition – sticks become wands, trees become castles and puddles become oceans. Creativity flourishes outdoors.

4️⃣ Connection with Nature – early experiences outdoors help children develop a love and respect for the world around them.

5️⃣ Resilience and Risk Taking – climbing, balancing and exploring builds healthy bodies, problem-solving skills and self-belief.

💥 Outdoors is where superheroes discover their true powers 💥

and because we like to practice what we preach, our leaders make sure they get outside too!!

Helen took these photos this weekend — enjoying the fresh air, balance and play that we know is just as important for grown-ups as it is for little ones! 💛

👉 Why not get your Little Superheroes out and about this week?

Snap a photo, share it in the comments, and show us how your little heroes are making the most of the great outdoors.

Together, let’s raise a generation of Little Superheroes with strong bodies, resilient minds, and joyful hearts. 💚

See you tomorrow at our Fulwood Monday Community Hub for more fun and games! Everyone welcome 🦸🏿🦸🏿‍♀️🦸🏿‍♂️

🌟 Tomorrow Our New Little Superhero Adventure Begins! 🌟

We can’t wait to welcome our under 5s back to the Little Superhero Active Start Group tomorrow morning 💜

📍 Don’t forget — we’re starting at our NEW venue, Christ Church, Fulwood, as part of our Monday Community Hub!

This term, the children will take part in exciting Little Superhero Challenges based on our Number, Colour and Shape theme — all while working towards their end-of-term award certificates 🏅✨

Our classes follow a fun, familiar format each week that children quickly get to know and love. With large preschool apparatus stations set up creatively each week, little ones have the freedom to explore the floor, climb, balance, and challenge themselves in a safe, supportive space.

The best part?

Children don’t even realise just how much they’re learning while they play. Every jump, climb, and superhero stretch builds their:

💪 Physical skills
🧠 Learning and problem-solving
💬 Social confidence
💛 Emotional wellbeing

Our mission is always to educate, empower and encourage — giving children a happy, healthy flying start in life. 🚀

We’re so excited to see you all tomorrow at Christ Church for a morning full of fun, games, and Little Superhero magic! 🌈

Here’s a sneak peek of what’s waiting for your little ones tomorrow…

04/09/2025

Morning all 👋

How are you?

We are having a very busy week behind the scenes, cleaning and sorting equipment to take to our new Monday Community Hub, catching up on messages, emailing our families and generally getting back in our work flow! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🤪

We are excited to re-open our first group on Monday at our new venue and we can’t wait to see lots of smiley Little Superheroes flying around the hall in their capes and playing our familiar warm up games!

I always say to everyone expect a little chaos on the first day back 🤣. We are all human and lots of 'news' can make a funny session ... new faces, new friends, new equipment, new room, new instructions, new toilets, new week... new new new ... it's a transition time and a few hiccups always make for a fun session! 🤣

We are really excited to see you! I think there might just be one place left on the website for Monday 8th so if you want to join us, go grab it. I will then open a waiting list.🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

I always keep some pay as you go spots for Mondays and generally these will go LIVE on Monday evenings for the following week. We aim to accommodate as many families as we can but we do cap numbers to ensure a quality experience. Booking is therefore essential!

Aswell as our physical development sessions, I'm really looking forward to getting our creative on for a Monday afternoon session.

This will be coming soon ... as soon as we are good to go and settled in ... I anticipate week 3 or 4. Creative activities really support children's emotional wellbeing (aswell as adults) and I envisage these sessions will be calm, quieter and very nurturing for children.

You know how passionate I am about children’s health and wellbeing! Watch this space and get booked on. We love bringing community together and meeting parents, grandparents, carers and of course your wonderful children ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

See you soon Little Superheroes
Helen ♥️🦸🏿🦸🏿‍♀️🦸🏿‍♂️♥️
