It’s National Apprenticeship Week!

At Preston Vocational Centre, we are proud to support young people to build bright futures in construction and Isaac is a brilliant example of that.

After leaving PVC nearly two years ago, Isaac secured a fantastic three-year apprenticeship with JFN Integrated Solutions Ltd. Since then, he has gone from strength to strength, not only excelling in his role at JFN, but also giving back to his community through his own gardening business, which even earned him a letter from the Mayor.

Isaac’s journey shows just how impactful apprenticeships can be in building confidence, skills and opportunities for the future.

Last week, we attended the Youth Build UK awards at the House of Commons.

We are delighted to share that one of our students, Luca was awarded the Highly Commended Young Builder of the Year Award 🌟

We are also proud that PVC was named among the top four finalists for 'Best Supporting Organisation'.

Well done Luca, we are so proud of you! 💙

We are proud to share the completion of the 'Pathway to Progress' programme, delivered in partnership with Keepmoat Homes 🛠

The initiative gave our learners the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry in a structured and supportive environment over the Summer holidays.
