We would like to wish all our families a very happy Christmas. Your children were all amazing in our nativity play yesterday. Thank you for your continued support and we wish you a peaceful new year.

Our children have visited the war memorial today to lay our own wreath. We had watched the animation ‘Poppies’ and then created their own poppy wreath. We all felt part of our very special community as our wreath joined so many others on Armistice Day.

What an amazing time we had at Blossoming Buds in Kirkham to celebrate World Mental Health Day! Every child had the opportunity to relax in the fantastic sensory room. The children were full of awe and wonder as the lights and music gently changed. The children happily played in this wonderful environment before learning a new game using the parachute, where working with our friends we were using the tools we would need to make friends and develop positive relationships, essential for mental health! We would like to thank Blossoming Buds for enabling us to have this wonderful experience. We look forward to coming back soon.

We have had a wonderful day harvesting some vegetables from our nursery allotment. We found swede that looked ’like a ball’. We compared the length of our runner beans and found butternut squash the ‘colour of sunshine’. We picked our crops and then made butternut squash and red pepper soup when we got back to nursery. It was delicious. We are looking forward to seeing what will be ready to harvest next week.
