๐๐๐ Three in a Row for The Dunes, Another Ofsted Outstanding! ๐๐๐
A huge congratulations to our incredible team at The Dunes, who have achieved an Ofsted Outstanding rating at their latest inspection, making it three consecutive full inspections rated Outstanding.
Inspectors judged the home Outstanding across the board: the overall experiences and progress of children and young people, how well they're helped and protected, and the effectiveness of leaders and managers. The report highlighted the exceptional progress young people make in education, the trusting relationships they have with staff, and the rich opportunities they enjoy, including holidays to Spain, outward-bound activities, baking and walks on the beach.
Special recognition goes to Registered Manager Tracy Locke, whose ambition and commitment to achieving the very best outcomes for young people shines throughout the report, alongside her Deputy Manager and the whole team. The report describes a home filled with "warmth, love and nurture", where young people feel heard, supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.
For children and young people in residential care, a home like this makes all the difference. Consistent, caring relationships, strong advocacy and well planned support give young people the stability they need to grow, learn and thrive, and sustaining that standard across three inspections takes real dedication from everyone involved.
