"Friends of MSF" really do make a difference and help improve the lives of people around the world. FoMSF UCLan welcomes anyone (students/staffs) who has an interest in MSF's work, irregardless of any medical background. Our society will host several events throughout the academic year. Entry for all events are open to both members and non-members! We look forward to having you on board! Q: Why don't I need a medical background to be part of FoMSF UCLan? MSF an independent non-profit organisation that recruits both medical & non-medical staffs to work on its projects. Here are the different roles within the MSF team:

Simply put, everybody is welcomed can join us! Médecins Sans Frontières, also known as Doctors without Borders, is an independent medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid in more than 60 countries to victims of armed conflict, epidemics, natural or man-made disasters or exclusion from healthcare.
