Sports & Sports Coaching - places available

Study Sports at Preston College in partnership with PNE Community and Education Trust and gain a recognised qualification and invaluable work experience in the industry.

This course is for 16-18 year olds and covers sports coaching, anatomy and physiology, fitness, sports development, leadership, psychology, and talent identification. You will also be able to demonstrate your coaching skills by planning and delivering a sports session to a group of young people during half-term camps and local primary schools.

This course is for 16-18 year olds who want to prepare for a career in the Public Services. Whether, it’s the Police, Fire Service or Armed Forces - Preston College will prepare you for further study, fitness testing and working in the industry.

You will be taught in and out of the classroom, including theoretical lessons and outdoor practical activities. Preston College has a range of learning equipment and environments to support the development of your skills including: an outdoor gym, fitness suite, riot gear, stretchers, radios, and protective clothing/uniforms.

T Level in Business & Administration – places available!

Study the T Level in Business & Administration and open a world of opportunities. Studying business means you can work in any industry, in a countless number of roles around the world.

The T Level in Business & Administration covers a range of topics including event management, finance, budgeting, HR, marketing, and sustainability in business.

Alongside developing technical knowledge, you will also complete a 315 hour industry placement. This means you gain a qualification worth up to 168 UCAS (the same as three A-Levels) and invaluable work experience.
