St Pius X Catholic Preparatory School is an Independent day school for girls and boys aged 2 -11.
It is owned by CPS (Preston) Ltd, and is a non-profit making charitable trust administered by a board of governors. 💛 The Pius community would like to say a fond farewell 😢👋 to our Headmaster ⭐️ Mr. Long ⭐️ who will leave us at the end of summer ☀️ to start a new role as Head at a school much closer to his family home.
💛 Mr. Long, worked at St. Pius for 1️⃣9️⃣ years, during which time he started as the Head of PE 🏃and class teacher, moving onto a member of the senior leadership team, and eventually as the Headmaster we all know and love 🥰
We will miss him greatly but wish him all the best 🍀 in his new role and adventure in September 💛💫

💚 Our Year 1 and Year 2 children had a lovely visit to Blackpool Zoo! 🌟 They visited lots of animals 🐅🦓🦍🐘 and learnt about the different habitats they live in around the world 🌎💫

🥈🏆 Huge congratulations to our amazing team of Year 5 & 6 pupils who represented our school at the SPAR Lancashire Games last week! 🌟👏
They took on 🧭 orienteering, ⛳ footgolf and 🤝 team games with fantastic teamwork, determination and smiles all day long! 😄💪
We’re so proud to have finished 2nd overall 🥈🎉 – an incredible achievement! 🌟 Most importantly, everyone had lots of fun, made brilliant memories and showed outstanding sportsmanship.❤️💙

☀️🌟 What an amazing Summer Dance & Drama Showcase! 🌟☀️
Despite the heat this week, our talented children put on a spectacular show, demonstrating their skills in 🎭 Drama, 🕺 Street Dance, 🩰 Ballet and 📣 Cheerleading. Every performance was full of confidence, smiles and incredible energy—we couldn’t be prouder! 💛✨
A huge well done to all of our performers for spreading so much happiness, and a special thank you to Miss Gemma, Miss Holly and Miss Louise for making it all possible. 💐👏

🏐✨ A huge congratulations to our U11 Netball Team for representing St Pius so brilliantly this afternoon at the Preston Schools Division 5 Tournament! 🖤💛
With 4 visiting schools taking part, it was fantastic to see such impressive netball skills on display, wonderful teamwork throughout, and so many happy faces all round 😊👏
The girls played with determination, encouragement and great sportsmanship, making us incredibly proud both on and off the court. 🌟
