St Pius X Catholic Preparatory School St Pius X Catholic Preparatory School is an Independent day school for girls and boys aged 2 -11.

It is owned by CPS (Preston) Ltd, and is a non-profit making charitable trust administered by a board of governors. It is a co-educational Catholic school welcoming children of all religions, between the ages of 2 to 11. The head is a member of the Incorporated Association of Preparatory Schools (IAPS) and is recognised by the Department of Education and Employment.

💛 We are pleased to introduce our ⭐️ new Acting Headteacher⭐️, Miss Porter 💫 She has been a valued member of 🌟 St Pius 🌟 for 20 years, teaching Reception before moving into Senior Leadership, becoming our Head of Early Years, Designated Safeguarding Lead and Deputy Head 💫 She is an inspiration to both staff and children and we wish her the very best of luck 🍀 in her new role. 💛 The Pius community would like to say a fond farewell 😢👋 to our Headmaster ⭐️ Mr. Long ⭐️ who will leave us at the end of summer ☀️ to start a new role as Head at a school much closer to his family home.
💛 Mr. Long, worked at St. Pius for 1️⃣9️⃣ years, during which time he started as the Head of PE 🏃and class teacher, moving onto a member of the senior leadership team, and eventually as the Headmaster we all know and love 🥰
We will miss him greatly but wish him all the best 🍀 in his new role and adventure in September 💛💫
