He was able to gain experience on a placement at BAE Systems, then successfully get onto their graduate scheme after graduating. Josh applied through to one of our aerospace engineering with foundation year programmes.

During the first week of the academic year, our students gather to work on a project to introduce a pavilion to a pre-existing space on campus. It involves students from Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying and Construction Project Management. It’s a great chance for everyone to work together and discover how all the different areas of the built environment professions work together.

Dr Mark Norris and Dr Joanne Pledger give us a tour of the large telescopes, robotic telescopes and planetarium we have at Alston.
