The temperature inside school today is the hottest we've had all week but please be assured that we are doing our best to keep all the children as cool as possible.

If you are able to, children can be collected between 1pm and 2pm today from the main office. There will be no further option to collect children after 2pm up until normal finishing time at 3.20pm due to safeguarding and staffing.

Please do not worry if you are unable to collect your child but the option is there for anyone who is able to.

Please note that KS2 children are unable to walk home on their own at the earlier time.

With the hot weather expected this week and an amber weather warning issued for the rest of this week, we just wanted to give a few reminders please.

Children are encouraged to come to school dressed in lightweight clothing that is appropriate for school (PE kit shorts & t-shirts, summer dresses or non uniform items that are cool but appropriate).

Please can children come to school with a sun hat each day and can you ensure that sun cream is applied before the start of the school day.

Staff will regularly remind children to drink water throughout the day so please ensure your child comes to school with their water bottle.

Children will still be able to access our outdoor spaces, but only for short periods of time.

👶 Sharing songs and rhymes is a fun way for babies and toddlers to develop their language skills.

👶 Join us every Wednesday at 10.30am and 2.30pm in the Family Library for Baby Bounce and Rhyme.

👶 Drop-in, no booking required.
