Little fingers making 999 calls this weekend. Be careful we know they know who to call😆

Where’s your phone? 👀

In your hand? Down the side of your sofa? With your toddler or child?

Over the weekend, we’ve had a number of 999 calls that were made by little fingers 😅

Whilst we know it’s easy for younger children to get hold of your phone, it’s important to remove it from them as they might inadvertently call our emergency line.

In one instance from this weekend, we received a repeat call from the same number a total of NINE times…. Which meant that FOUR genuine emergency calls were waiting in a queue to be answered.

999 can be the difference between life and death, so it’s important to make sure that these lines are kept free for those who really need them.

This morning we visited the beach to take part in a beach clean for recycling week. We collected three whole bags of rubbish from the sand ☺️

This month preschool are focusing on all about me.

This morning they have been doing self portraits, discussing skin tones, hair colour, and eye colour. Differences and similarities and reading “I like myself”.

This afternoon we will be talking about our likes and dislikes ✨

To our preschoolers who are starting school today and tomorrow. We want to say a big good luck, we know you’ll all have a fantastic day and a great start to your new chapter.

The two room have been learning about healthy and unhealthy eating.
This morning they “fried” their own chips, using a sponge, vinegar and baking soda.

They loved hearing the fizzing sounds and speaking about unhealthy foods, they also enjoyed exploring changes in objects

The witch had a cat and a very tall hat, and long ginger hair which she wore in a plait….

Today preschool and rising threes went on a room on the broom walk through the forest. We looked for all of the clues, characters and signs; we found them all and rescued the witch.

“Yes” cried the witch and they all clambered on…
