Hi all!
We’ve been given an opportunity to go visit Blackpool zoo on Wednesday May 1st to talk to their bone specialists and have a look at their animal specimens.
We understand there are essay deadlines around this time so if you would like to go that day please let us know by Wednesday so we can plan it, otherwise we will arrange it for a later date

Today UCLAN Archaeology 1st years visited a series of sites, one of which is the gorgeous Lowther Castle.
While this impressive building has been standing since its completion in 1812, this is also the site of an early Norman ringwork castle. The earthen remains of this structure can be seen in the gardens and some of our members will be excavating there this summer!
