Roots to Branches FS CIC

Roots to Branches FS CIC Roots to Branches promotes outdoor learning through play. Running forest schools and one off sessions

Using nature to nurture
Increasing confidence and wellbeing in our children and adults. Picture the scene; the sound of twigs snapping underfoot, the smell of pine needles in the air and the curiosity in your child’s eyes as they learn a new skill. Roots to Branches Forest School CIC is about reconnecting with nature. Getting outdoors in the fresh air promotes confidence and well being; vital to everybody's development. We get them engaging with the environment and offer alternative learning through fun, safe woodland based activities. Affects of our Forest Schools include smiles, increased confidence and wellbeing, muddy shoes, grass stained knees and dirty finger nails. Woodcraft for wellbeing has been working hard the last few sessions learning new whittling skills to make something someone saw online. Today one lady finished her design. She loved it so much I think she's starting a family of dragon flies next time.
We have two last sessions left for this year in October. It's for adults only and free of charge.

Wild skills for young explorers has been a big hit! I am so impressed with the skills and creativity they have all brought to the sessions. We are looking at options for fun next year. Would you like more wild skills for under 8s?
Wild skills for over 8's?
Wild skills for teen or adults?
Let us know what you would like to see and influence what our CIC does in the community.
