We are currently hiring for Playworkers to work in our Breakfast / After school clubs and holiday clubs across Preston.

The hours of work are 7.30am - 9am and returning later in the day 3pm - 6pm.
The holiday club hours are 9am - 5pm.

These positions are currently temporary for the summer term.

‼️☀️IMPORTANT INFORMATION☀️‼️

For all children attending holiday club this week:
Please come with suncream applied and spare in their bags for us to reapply in the afternoon along with a labelled sun hat to wear outside.
It is forecast to reach 27 degrees during the week, and the sun is very powerful in our outdoor area.

We want to enjoy the sun, but due to the high UV, time outside will be limited without suncream!☀️

We have been very busy in our Early Years Room.

We have enjoyed designing our own boats and then creating them using a range of recyclable materials. Whilst outside, we had lots of fun watching to see if they floated.

We have also enjoyed exploring with sensory pluffle and creating mosaic pictures.

Our last week in Pre-School

We had lots of fun talking about what we want to be when we grow up. The children also enjoyed having their faces painted, ready to join in with our party. Some children went on a walk in the local community, visiting the shop and the Post Office. Whilst being busy outside, we have enjoyed watching the builders getting our new Pre-School ready.

In our EYFS Holiday Club, we have had lots of fun being creative and learning about the weather ⛅️. We have learnt about rainbows, the sunshine and rain. We have made rainbows using clay and decorated sun catchers.

We have also enjoyed creating ‘All About Me’ pictures.

We did a science experiment! The coin left in the lemonade ended up the cleanest! 🍋
