Financial support is available for students studying Levels 1–3 (school leaver), and have a household income below £40,000, or students studying Levels 4–6 (degree/higher education) and have a household income below £25,000.

All supporting evidence must be uploaded when you submit your application.

Trips and more trips! As we start to celebrate completing another fantastic academic year, this week students have been on several different trips. Chester zoo and beach surveying for world oceans day. More trips planned next week!

🌞🌞Some of the animals have been enjoying the sunshine today!

Did you know we house a wide variety of species that our students get to work with, small to large and everything in between. We feel it is important to house such a large range so our students are well equipped to work in such a vast industry.

Here are a few of our larger animals enjoying the grass ( and fence rub!) down at our lodge farm section.

We’ve been keeping a secret!
Recently we have had a couple of new animals join the unit.
We welcomed a Cuvier’s Dwarf Caiman at the end of February. He is settling well and loving his new enclosure.
We also welcome two Indian crested porcupines to our mammal area. Again they are settling well and have just had a pen renovation.
