🌞🌞Some of the animals have been enjoying the sunshine today!

Did you know we house a wide variety of species that our students get to work with, small to large and everything in between. We feel it is important to house such a large range so our students are well equipped to work in such a vast industry.

Here are a few of our larger animals enjoying the grass ( and fence rub!) down at our lodge farm section.

🫏Interested in joining us in September have a look at our courses and apply now.

What a brilliant example of how work experience undertaken as part of our qualifications is so valuable! Very proud of you girls and well done gaining employment. Thank you to LCA Luxury Dog Hotel, Daycare & Walking for providing our learners with work experience to help them achieve their qualifications. ⭐️

We’ve been keeping a secret!
Recently we have had a couple of new animals join the unit.
We welcomed a Cuvier’s Dwarf Caiman at the end of February. He is settling well and loving his new enclosure.
We also welcome two Indian crested porcupines to our mammal area. Again they are settling well and have just had a pen renovation.
If you are thinking of joining us in September please apply now so you can meet these on a taster day. https://www.myerscough.ac.uk/courses/further-education/animal-studies/
