Today in forest school we have done some large scale autumn painting, bending and stretching to strengthen our big muscles 🍂🍁

We have loved reading our new book Granny Gruffalo, so today we decided to make our own stew. We mixed ingredients together such as carrots, onions, lentils and much more, luckily we didn’t need a mouse as Granny has given up meat! We have lots of stew if Granny Gruffalo ever decides to visit nursery ❤️

Our expert of week loves princesses and tea parties so today at nursery we’ve had our own royal princess tea party. The children dressed for the occasion and we got our best china out. We listened to a selection of princess music and had a royal good time 👑🫖💕

Oh we do love forest school day 💚

We’ve been busy exploring, finding various sized sticks , comparing sizes and putting them into size order, fantastic team work ⭐️

We’ve enjoyed taking risks by climbing on different sized logs, moving from one to another and offering help to our peers if needed.

We finished off our session with a fun game of hide and seek, were we heard some fantastic counting 💚

Today we had a lovely time joining in with schools reading festival, looking at the story Alice in Wonderland. We started by doing a hunt around forest school to locate pictures of the story and then had to work as a team to put the story in order. We then went with Miss McEvoy where we took turns to put on a puppet show using the characters and re-telling parts of the story. What a fantastic afternoon 📚
