We are having some renovations done in the nursery garden, and have some additional resources, does anyone want any car tyres for outdoor play or do any schools or nurseries want any? Collection from us at the nursery 🛞

What’s lovely way to end the half term enjoying a movie afternoon with all your friends!

The children role played an afternoon at the cinema, paying with their cinema ticket and choosing their snacks in their personalised cups they all made in the morning 🎬

This morning we have enjoyed baking banana muffins.
This was a great activity, we developed our mathematical skills through measuring, counting and pouring.
Our physical development, working on our fine and gross motor skills also our hand and eye coordination.🍌

Preschool have some exciting news this morning!!!

In September last year the children found some caterpillars in the garden, we kept them in our butterfly house and have been watching the life cycle. For months they have been growing in their cocoon and this morning the children have noticed one of them has hatched 🐛🦋

This morning our pre-school children enjoyed a lovely yoga session with the preschool staff out in the garden, followed by some fun games with the parachute 🧘‍♀️🧘☀️

What a fantastic busy morning in preschool celebrating world book day! We have read some of our favourite stories ‘Goldilocks and the 3 bears, Stickman and of course a book all about diggers!
The children all look fabulous and have enjoyed role playing out the stories 📚

We have got some big plans for our outdoor garden area.. In order to create our vision we are in need of some donations such as

Old tyres

Bike tyres

Pallets

Drain pipes

Drainage tubes

Drying drums

Old pots and pans, spoons ext…

Cut off astroturf

Yesterday we had some visitors to help us celebrate the new lunar year. The children really enjoyed watching the performance of the lion dance and listening to the gong, symbols and a drum.

The children all had a turn at playing the musical instruments exploring the different sounds!

What a fantastic experience for all the children to celebrate Chinese new year.
