We provide a wide range of high quality educational services and programmes for all staff who work in health care or aspire to do so.

Launched in 2015, The Health Academy is the education arm of Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The Health Academy comprises three Education Centres at its heart, two at Royal Preston Hospital and one at Chorley and South Ribble Hospital. Our LIFE (Learning Inspirations for Future Employment) Centre was added in 2018 to promote careers in healthcare and to support a wide range of students from the age of five upwards. Our aim is to provide safe, effective and compassionate care through educational excellence, and in turn, develop staff and learners with the same vision. We provide a wide range of high-quality educational services and programmes that support the attainment, achievement and advancement of all staff and learners and are devoted to providing a safe, positive, supportive and inspirational learning environment for all those we mentor and teach. We have three centres, two based at Preston (Tel: 01772 524310) and the third is based in Chorley (Tel:01257 245600).

Half Term: 31 March–1 April 2026 (10am–2pm)
