The Space Centre Ran by Creative Support, SPACE is the largest multi-sensory environment in the U.K. for anyone with special needs.

We have over 230 groups visiting a month, including special schools, respite care homes, family bookings, play-schemes, parent support groups, after school clubs and also day centres and community homes who cater for young people and adults with physical and learning disabilities. SPACE can cater for people with a wide range of disabilities including Cerebral Palsy, Profound Multiple Disabilities, Autism and brain injuries. Groups come from all over the north west and sometimes even further afield, which demonstrates the need for such a facility and illustrates the fact that there are no other centres like SPACE.

🌈 Taking on board recent feedback we wanted to know your thoughts on a different approach to our family sessions.
Reducing capacity and categorising age groups, 0-7s, 8-13s & 13+. We are hoping more sessions with smaller groups will broaden our inclusivity and provide families with a more positive experience whilst they visit the centre.
Please comment below any thoughts or feedback and we will do our best to accommodate all those who wish to book onto our well loved shared sessions 😊 ✨

All money raised for the centre goes directly into the sensory rooms from maintaining all the technology and allowing us to continue purchasing new and exciting equipment.

🎃 Spooky Season is fast approaching so we have added a few Halloween themed Family Sessions for the 31st October we have 11-12pm & 12:30-1:30pm for littler ones and a teen session at 4:15-5:15
All Family and Teen Sessions are for those with additional needs and their Parents/ Guardians or Support.
Fancy dress is welcome however please no face paint in the sensory rooms.
