Do you understand your childcare entitlement?

From April 2024, eligible working parents of 2-year-olds will be able to access 15 hours childcare support.

From September 2024, 15 hours childcare support will be extended to eligible working parents of children from the age of 9 months to 3-year-olds.

Here at Billington Bears we have a new, exciting opening for a nursery practitioner position. We are looking for an individual confident in following children's ideas and passionate about child lead learning. The candidate must be qualified to a minimum of level 3.
The position is for 3 days per week, 4 for occasional holiday cover.

We are a team with a family feel, ready to welcome you with open arms and huge hearts!

Adventure awaits!

Today we hosted a halloween stay and play where our wonderful parents joined us at nursery to take part in some spooky activities. As always they got stuck in and it was a lovely afternoon. 🎃

This morning our bears enjoyed visiting Clayton Brook Village centre for their new play group! It was lovely to have the children in their community. The playgroup was really great and even provided them fruit and crumpets 😁

Tuesday the children were pretending to make various foods out of playdough so yesterday, we extended on their interest and made rice crispy cakes 😁🧁

Holiday club children have expressed their creative sides with lots of hands on activities this week. They have baked biscuits, painted masterpieces, watched a movie, made their own playdough to mold and built dens as a team.

We have had a busy adventure filled morning today with a long walk to the cafe where we had a breakfast treat. The children loved exploring nature and spotted lots of ducks and sheep! It was a very very long walk! 😁
