And we’re looking for a fantastic Toddler Room Leader to lead our toddler room at Playdor Higher Walton.
🌟 What will you actually be doing?
You’ll lead your room and the lovely humans working in it.
You’ll create an environment where toddlers are safe, loved, challenged, celebrated and given endless opportunities to explore their wonderfully chaotic little worlds.
You’ll support and inspire your team, build brilliant relationships with families and make sure standards across your room are consistently high.
Of course, you’ll understand the EYFS, safeguarding, ratios, routines, observations and all the important aspects of nursery life.
But we’re not looking for someone who can simply tick boxes.
We’re looking for someone who can lead people.
Someone who notices when a team member needs support.
Someone who brings energy to a room.
Someone who has high standards without sucking the joy out of it.
Because sometimes great Early Years practice looks beautifully organised…
And sometimes it’s paint, mud, flour and 14 mysteriously items in the water tray!
🧠 You might be our person if you…
✨ Hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
✨ Have at least 2 years’ experience working in childcare
✨ Have leadership experience OR you’re an exceptional experienced practitioner ready for your next step
✨ Understand safeguarding and take it seriously. Always.
✨ Can lead, support and get the best out of a team
✨ Build fantastic relationships with children and families
✨ Are warm, organised, enthusiastic and not afraid to be a little silly when the situation calls for it
✨ Want to learn, develop and keep getting better
Most importantly, you care.
