When the sun comes out…nothing beats a good water fight….safe to say our pre schoolers had lots of fun ☀️

Pre School have been working on number recognition recently, we have been counting objects and then matching them to the correct quantities. They showed good counting knowledge and worked together to find the correct amount

This week in babies we have been up to lots of things! We have loved figuring out the cause and effect toys, reading and painting! We even went digging for some little friends.🪱

“Cause-and-effect play helps babies understand basic concepts like action and reaction, which are essential for developing problem-solving skills.”

We have been exploring the world around us looking at different animals big and small, the children love making each animal noise!🐹🦁🐶🐮🐸🐷🪱

Wow what an amazing week we have had at nursery celebrating Easter!🐣

The children have been extra busy with lots of Easter crafts including making bunny masks, making their very own chocolate nest cakes and we even had a very special trip to the our local church for our very own Easter story which also included a couple of crafts and activities.🪺

These activities helped to build our communication, turn taking and independence. The trip to the church supported the children to talk about their trip to their friends during circle times and they all talked about their experience and what happened.

Last but not least, we had 2 very special visitors at nursery on Tuesday! The Easter bunny and Easter chick came to visit and brought us all a chocolate treat! 🐰🐥

This week, the babies at Playdor had a wonderful day out at the local park, taking full advantage of the beautiful weather. They had a fantastic time running around, smelling the flowers, and exploring all the wooden sculptures together.🪵🌳🌼

Pre School have really enjoyed getting in the Easter spirit and working on our fine motor skills by lining up gems and pom poms on different Easter egg patterns 🐣 we had to pinch the gems and place them across the patterns, building our muscles up ready for the next step 🖍️

We have also been colouring matching the eggs, by squeezing them and pulling them apart to put the matching colours together 🥚
