Bitter Sweet days 🥚 🐣🐥

My first Fledgling has flown the nest…. 😢🤩
And I’m feeling quite emotional about it. My little fledgling was on a 9 week placement which literally flew by! He was my first short term
And youngest pupil who introduced me to strawberry milkshake in your cup of tea! ☕️ 🍓

Over these 9 weeks, I’ve been working closely one-to-one with this young person. We’ve used the animals to foster calm interactions and develop emotional awareness. Together, we’ve practiced self-regulation, understanding how to stay calm even when things get tricky. We’ve been building interaction skills to help with classmates and preparing for a positive step into a new school. It’s been such a journey, and though I’ll miss them, I know they’re ready to take these skills with them!

This young person even gained an ASDAN life skills certificate in Caring for Hens. 🐓 💓 Thanks for my gifts especially my friendship bracelet 🙏

Even the terriers are tired of the cold🥶 … we’re nearly there 🌱🌸

Our hens have the best free range life! But you must ensure they have hiding places… they only feel content when they know they are safe.

With lots of hiding places on the farm our girls our super content and lay Eggcelent eggs in return 😊

With a ‘Feels Like..’ temp or -7° yesterday these words or on the tip of my tongue EVERYDAY!

‘We’re nearly there’ I keep repeating.

‘Where?’ Come the confused innocent responses 🤭🌳🌱🌸💫
