π A Huge Thank You to Potter's Barn! π
We were beyond thrilled yesterday when the wonderful Katie and Jamie from Potterβs Barn, Ribchester, treated all of our staff to a delicious lunch! π΄π
The food was absolutely amazing, and we are so grateful for the time, care and thought that went into such a generous treat. It was a lovely surprise and a wonderful way to say thank you to our hardworking team at the end of a busy year.
If you're looking for something special over the summer holidays, we would highly recommend a visit to Potterβs Barn. Whether you're after fantastic food and drinks or would like to enjoy some pottery painting with family and friends, it's a brilliant local gem right here in Ribchester.
Thank you again, Katie and Jamie β your kindness was very much appreciated by us all! π

π What an amazing time we had at Sports Day! π
Our children truly shone throughout the day, demonstrating our school's Christian values in every event. It was wonderful to see such incredible teamwork, determination and encouragement, with pupils celebrating one another's successes and always striving to be the very best they could be. π
We are so proud of the resilience, sportsmanship and positive attitude shown by every child. Whether running, jumping, throwing or cheering from the sidelines, everyone played their part in making the day such a success. πββοΈπββοΈπ
A huge thank you to Coach Becks from EdStart for all of her help, support and enthusiasm in organising and running the event. We couldn't have done it without you!
Well done to all of our children and thank you to the families who came along to support and cheer them on. What a fantastic day! πβοΈ

β½οΈ FOOTBALL UPDATE! β½οΈ
We will be showing the England match at school tomorrow for any children who would like to watch it. The screening will begin at approximately 9:15am.
To make sure everyone can enjoy the excitement and experience the match as if it were live, please help us by keeping the result a secret from your children if they have not already watched it.
We will not be revealing the score at school and would love all children to be able to watch the match together without knowing the outcome beforehand.
β€οΈπ€π All children are welcome to come to school wearing:
A football kit, or
Red, white and blue clothing
Come on England! π¦π¦π¦β½οΈπ¬π§

We are so proud of these children for earning a Head Teacher Award or a Values Award! Our school Christian value this half term is 'thankfulness' and the children have truly shown how wonderful, and thankful, they are in all they do.

π Water Safety Update π
Following recent events involving the river, we want to reassure our families that we are taking additional steps in school to support childrenβs understanding of water safety.
This week, all classes will be taking part in extra water safety lessons alongside their usual learning. These sessions are designed to build childrenβs knowledge, awareness and confidence so they can make safe choices around water.
Class teachers will share updates and photos on Class Dojo so you can see what the children have been learning. Teaching children how to stay safe near water is incredibly important, as understanding risks and how to respond in an emergency can help prevent accidents.
As always, the safety and wellbeing of our children is our highest priority, and we are committed to doing all we can to keep them safe. π
