Oxfordshire County Council is recruiting an 3 x Area Tree Officers to help manage and protect the county's tree stock, support tree planting initiatives, and contribute to canopy cover growth across Oxfordshire.
This could be an excellent opportunity for experienced arborists, tree officers, climbing arborists looking to move into management, or recent arboriculture graduates.

We're throwing open our doors in the summer as part of Open Farm Sunday!
The event will take place on June 7th at our Lodge Farm (PR3 0RT), with more details and ticket information to follow soon.
We're looking for stall holders to come and join us on the day. If you're a local food producer, run a craft stall, or make toys, jewellery etc, then we'd love to hear from you. (Note - we do not require hot food sellers/ice cream vans etc).

The 2026 Arbor Day UK takes place on Wednesday, February 11, at Myerscoughโs main Preston centre, bringing together leading voices from across the sector to explore the theme โResilience of Trees in Forestry.โ
Arbor Day UK unites forestry professionals, arboriculture specialists, environmental advocates, and students to examine the ecological, societal, and economic importance of trees and woodlands in sustainable land management.
