From shirt signing and laughter with friends to a celebration assembly, it was a morning full of proud moments, smiles, and a few emotional goodbyes.

We are so proud of everything our Year 11s have achieved and the resilience they have shown throughout their GCSEs!

Wishing you all the very best for the future – we can’t wait to see what you go on to accomplish!

Well done to our Year 10s on their GCSE Geography river study this week!

Despite a last-minute location change and some very wet weather, their behaviour was fantastic and their spirits were still high!

Each group demonstrated fantastic teamwork and communication skills which was lovely to see!

This week we had a visit from Artist Len Grant. His Urban Sketching skills were shared with our GCSE Art Group who then spent time working outside drawing our beautiful school building. Pupils created some amazing work, and we would like to say thank you to Len Grant for taking his time to share this experience with our students.

Moor Park’s Year 8 cricket team ended their indoor season in style with two excellent performances in the 2nd‑place finals.

A strong batting display from Maaz and Isaac set up a 61‑run total against St Cecilia’s, followed by disciplined bowling from Maaz, Muhammad, Mohammad and Isa to secure a comfortable win.

The team carried this form into their match against Corpus Christi, restricting them to 20 runs through outstanding bowling and fielding before completing the chase with more than four overs remaining.

A superb all‑round team effort and a brilliant way to build momentum ahead of the outdoor season.

Congratulations to all involved — a fantastic achievement!

Our Y9 pupils recently visited Brockholes Nature Reserve, where they explored a range of ecosystems, from wetlands to woodlands. During the visit, they carried out fieldwork to investigate biodiversity and to calculate the age and height of trees. These hands‑on skills will be invaluable as they begin their GCSE studies in September.

Year 7 stepped into the world of work for a MEGA Day! Pupils spent the day exploring careers in the digital and cyber industries through hands on workshops, challenges, and teamwork, led by IN4 Group professionals. From coding and robotics to a cyber challenge, it was a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, creativity, and workplace skills. A huge well done to all involved.

What a start for our Year 7 cricket team! 🏏

A brilliant afternoon saw Moor Park edge Christ the King by just one wicket, before powering to a second win against Eden Boys' by 17 runs. Outstanding batting and fielding all round — but a huge shout‑out to Zeeshan for an incredible hat‑trick in the first over, followed by two more wickets moments later. Four wickets in one over… unbelievable! ⭐️

Well done to everyone who has represented the team over the last two weeks. We are proud of you all!
