Moor Park's Year 8/9 football team got their season off to a fantastic start with an impressive 3-0 victory over CTK.

After a slow opening five minutes, Moor Park settled into the game and began to play with confidence and control. Two well-taken goals from Isaac and a third from Talha gave the team a commanding 3-0 lead going into half-time.

A special mention must go to Ethan, whose incredible one-handed save denied CTK a route back into the match and preserved Moor Park's advantage.

The team maintained their intensity and defensive discipline throughout the second half, preventing CTK from creating clear opportunities and securing a deserved 3-0 victory.

Congratulations to all of the players on a truly outstanding team performance and a brilliant start to the season!

Year 11 pupils have spent the last couple of weeks completing their GCSE Geography Human Fieldwork, investigating the regeneration of Preston's Harris Quarter. As part of their research, pupils carried out questionnaires and pedestrian counts to assess the success of the regeneration project. They represented the school brilliantly, Well done Year 11!

During the final week of the summer term, we came together for our annual Summer Celebration, and what a fantastic afternoon it was!

Students enjoyed an exciting range of activities, including a helter skelter, inflatable obstacle course, climbing wall, high striker, inflatable basketball, and of course, a visit from the ice cream van.

The day was made even more special with a fantastic performance from our talented students alongside Charlie Aky.

A huge thank you also goes to Cath and her team, who provided food for everyone.

Thank you to all staff, students, and guests who made the day so enjoyable and a wonderful way to celebrate another successful school year!
