We let the children choose the learning today, and so proud they wanted allotment life but indoors (our allotment is unfortunately pretty boggy thanks rain, our crops will thank you though) 🌧️

We spoke a companion planting thanks to our new book, we talked about the life cycle of a frog and was amazed by the children’s recollection 🥰 (some children even recognised caterpillars start differently from a butterfly too) and enjoyed oi frog on the Tonie box with a good snack ✨

We are enjoying some sensory play this morning and diving deep into a coral reef 🪸 working our fine motor magic while exploring colours & patterns 😃

Walks into the village for breakfast, thank you Card Outlet, Kirkham for having us 🩷

We loved the park with our childminder friends too!

Then an after hours trip to the allotment to water and was SO pleased to see some beautiful peas 🫛 that our little ones planted from seed! 🌱

Along with bubbles and ice creams, what a lovely day ☀️

Snack afternoons ✨🥒🫐

A lovely little nature walk down the lane today, we are collecting sticks to start making our ‘bath’ bed for the carrots on our allotment! ✨

This is a little different from our usual post, but please read on ✨

Women attending their smear test appointments is at an all time low and cervical cancer is on the rise. This is a small, 5 minute procedure which can detect the early (treatable) stages of cervical cancer.

Not being able to find childcare should NOT be a reason for being unable to attend your smear, but reality is, it is a factor.

Therefore, we are offering one hour’s FREE childcare to local mother’s who needs to attend their smear test. There is no catch, no obligation, we are OFSTED registered & first aid certified so you can put your mind at ease while you get your smear, potentially giving your child a future with their mother by their side.
