The card's presence in our readings reminds us that fulfilment comes not only from appreciating what we already have but recognising the richness that also exists within ourselves. ​​

Whilst the 10 of Cups represents shared happiness from the joy we share with others, the 9 of Cups looks at the individual's internal contentment and fulfillment.
