One of my favourite lessons is teaching my tiny dancers on a Tuesday evening. There’s something special about teaching the next generation of dancers🤍

✨MEET THE TEAM✨

Hi, I’m Paige, and I’m proud to be part of the ESDC team, where I assist with our Tuesday Cheer classes.

I have been part of ESDC since the school first began, having been taught by Eden throughout my own training. It’s really special to now be able to give back to the school and support the next generation of dancers and performers alongside Eden.

My journey in performing arts began with gymnastics, which gave me a strong foundation in movement, discipline and performance. I later transitioned into dance, developing a particular love for Lyrical and Cheer Dance. Throughout my training, I have been fortunate enough to win numerous awards and achieve success in both styles.

I went on to study at Preston College, where I completed my Professional Dance and Dance Teaching Diploma, allowing me to further develop both my performance skills and my passion for teaching.

Alongside my work at ESDC, I continue to perform regularly with MH Productions, giving me valuable professional performance experience and allowing me to continue growing within the industry.

I love being able to share my experience and passion with our students, helping them to build their confidence, develop their skills and enjoy every part of their dance journey. I’m so proud to be part of the ESDC family and look forward to continuing to support our dancers as they grow🤍

Can’t wait!!

We have a little exciting news to share for our forthcoming Blackpool Tower event!

With it being Half Term and Halloween, our entry numbers are looking a little lower than usual. For those attending, it will still be a busy weekend, but hopefully on a slightly calmer scale than a typical Blackpool event! We thought it would be nice to make the most of having a little more time by adding a few extra highlights to the weekend. We never normally have this luxury at Blackpool, so we’re keen to make the most of it!

Here’s what we have in store for you….

⭐️ SATURDAY SPOTLIGHT GRAND FINALS ⭐️
Anyone who makes a final in their Set Solo or Fusion events on Saturday will be invited to return early evening to take part in our Spotlight Grand Finals for the relevant dances. Finalists from different age groups will compete together, with the judges working together to select one standout dancer from each level. We feel this will work really well on the Saturday, as it can lead nicely into our Saturday night party session. Unfortunately, it wouldn’t work quite as well for our Sunday timetable, which is why this will be a Saturday-only feature this time.

⭐️ INTERSCHOOLS PAIRS EVENT – SATURDAY ⭐️
Around the middle of Saturday’s schedule, we’re going to run an Interschools Pairs event. Dancers can team up with someone from another school and put together a little routine on the spot to compete with. We’ll allow some time beforehand for everyone to find a partner and work out a few moves! Sunday competitors are welcome to take part too if they’re attending for the full weekend.

⭐️ LITTLE & LARGE / ADULT & CHILD – SUNDAY ⭐️
Around the middle of Sunday’s schedule, dancers will have the choice of entering ONE of the following: Little & Large (a younger dancer partnered with an older dancer, with a minimum age gap of 3 years) OR Adult & Child – exactly as the name suggests! Saturday competitors are also welcome to take part if they’re attending for the full weekend.

We hope you all enjoy these little extra touches and we look forward to seeing you in just over a month!
