Our school Gardening Club "Bloom and Grow" has officially started for the Summer term, and the children have enjoyed preparing our outdoor area for planting. We have been busy clearing out and tidying the planters, pulling out weeds, removing old plants, and turning over the soil so it is ready for new flowers, herbs, and vegetables. The children have enjoyed working together, learning about how gardens grow, and taking care of our school environment.

Our youngest children enjoyed creating beautiful petal mandala suncatchers as part of their โSpring into Lifeโ topic. Using natural materials such as petals and leaves, the children carefully explored colour, shape, pattern, and symmetry while designing their own unique creations. They used paper plates and sticky back plastic to assemble their suncatchers, developing fine motor skills through peeling, placing, and arranging the delicate materials.
The children were very proud to see their finished suncatchers displayed hanging in our classroom and from the windows, where the light shines through them beautifully!
