School holiday fun 😁

A fun first week of the summer holidays including a day on the allotment and sports day with our friends at regenerage

Next week is half term. We will be following the children's interests and keeping it flexible throughout the holidays. Please send your children wearing suncream and appropriate clothing for the weather as we will likely head on outings some days

It's the end of term, so we have celebrated with a party each day. We've been to playgroup parties, had a pool party and a leavers party with lots of prizes 💃

A Heartbreaking Update from Regenerage Withy Trees Activity Centre 💔

Last week, we shared the upsetting news that two of our garden parasols had been stolen from our Withy Trees Activity Centre in Fulwood.

We are devastated to tell you that, last night, our garden furniture was also taken!

For many, these items may seem like simple outdoor furniture, but for the older people who attend our centre, many of whom are living with memory concerns or dementia, they are an important part of creating a safe, welcoming and comfortable outdoor space where they can relax, socialise and enjoy spending time together.

As a small not-for-profit charity, every penny we receive is used to support older people in our community. Replacing these items is an unexpected cost that we can ill afford, and it is incredibly disheartening to see resources intended for vulnerable older people taken in this way.

Today, we are reaching out to our wonderful community for help.

We've had lots of fun this week. We've been to playgroup, the allotment, Regenerage the park and enjoyed painting and indoor and outdoor play
