🍎🥧 Our Adventurers have been celebrating the harvest season by making delicious apple crumble using apples from our apple trees! 🍏

Along the way, they developed lots of important skills, including weighing and measuring ingredients, following instructions, peeling and chopping apples safely, mixing and preparing the crumble topping, and working together as a team. They also had the chance to talk about where our food comes from and why we celebrate the harvest.

There was plenty of maths, practical learning, teamwork and independence involved — and, of course, the best part was tasting the finished crumble! 😋

A lovely way to celebrate the abundance of the harvest and enjoy the fruits of our work. 🌾🍎

We were delighted to start our Forest School sessions this week, with our children getting stuck into outdoor learning, exploring, creating and having fun in the great outdoors.

And, of course, the rain didn’t stop us! ☔️ Our children embraced both the sunshine and the wet weather, showing fantastic enthusiasm, resilience and a wonderful willingness to get involved! 🌳🪵

It has been a brilliant start to this year’s Forest School journey, and we can’t wait to see what adventures the coming weeks bring. 💚

🚲 Bikeability Success! 🚲

This week, our children in Years 5 and 6 have been developing their cycling skills as part of their Bikeability training.

The children have been learning how to cycle safely and confidently on the roads, developing important skills including road awareness, signalling, positioning, observation and making safe decisions around traffic. 🚦🚴‍♀️

We are incredibly proud of how sensibly and responsibly the children have approached their training. They have shown excellent concentration, resilience and a real commitment to becoming safer, more confident cyclists. 🌟

A huge thank you to our fantastic Bikeability instructors for their patience, encouragement and expert guidance. Your work is helping our children develop valuable skills that will keep them safer and more independent as they grow.

Well done, Pioneers — you should be very proud of yourselves! 👏🚲

🏆 Introducing our new House Captains! 🏆

We are delighted to introduce our new House Captains, who have been elected by their fellow pupils following our school-wide vote. 🗳️👏

Our House Captains will play an important role in school life this year, helping to bring their houses together, encourage teamwork and participation, and be positive role models for others.

A huge well done to all the children who put themselves forward and shared their ideas with their peers. It takes courage to stand for election, and we are incredibly proud of everyone who took part.

Congratulations to our newly elected House Captains — we can’t wait to see you lead, inspire and make a difference this year! 🌟
