What a fantastic way to start the week!
On Monday morning, our whole school came together to watch England in action. There were cheers, celebrations and plenty of excitement as we shared the experience together!
More importantly, it gave us the chance to talk about one of our school values: resilience. The England team showed determination, teamwork and the ability to keep going, even when the pressure was on—an inspiring reminder for us all that success often comes from never giving up.
A brilliant morning creating lasting memories together. Come on, England! 🦁🦁🦁

On Monday 6th July at 9:00am, each class will watch a special rerun of England’s next World Cup match against Mexico together.
Watching the game together promises to be a memorable experience, giving the children the chance to share the excitement with their friends and classmates. If you can, please help us keep the result a surprise for the children so everyone can enjoy the match together.
To make the occasion even more special, all children are invited to wear their own clothes, whether that’s an England shirt, football kit or red and white colours.
We’re looking forward to a fantastic morning cheering on England together.
Come on England! 🦁🦁🦁

With temperatures set to rise above 30°C, we want to help everyone stay safe, cool and comfortable during the school day.
Children are welcome to wear their PE kits or other suitable cool clothing over the next few days. Please remember to apply sun cream before school and send your child with a hat, sunglasses and a water bottle where possible.
We will continue to follow all recommended precautions to keep our pupils safe while enjoying the warmer weather.

What an incredible day Year 4 had during our latest Red Letter Day: Clang, Crash, Create! The children became Sound Explorers for the Day, bringing their Science learning to life through exciting hands-on activities and creative challenges! 🧪🎶
Throughout the day, pupils explored how sound is made through vibrations, investigated pitch and volume and discovered how sound travels. Following this, they put their learning into action through a range of creative activities. From making tissue box guitars 🎸 and straw pan pipes 🎵 to creating paper cup shakers 🪇 and paper plate tambourines 🥁, there was plenty of creativity… and lots of noise too!
The children investigated, built, tested and performed, developing their scientific thinking whilst having fun and working together. It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm, teamwork and imagination throughout the day.
A fantastic effort from Year 4 — we definitely made some noise and created some unforgettable learning memories! 👏
