Last night we welcomed new Parents, Guardians and some children to the EM school family at our Welcome Evening. We also welcomed Heather from LCC Attendance to say a few words. Was great to meet new and welcome back old faces! Watch out for our Children’s welcome video!

We welcomed Catherine from NHS Infection Control Team into school last week for a Bug Buster germ busting session! Don’t forget the Happy Birthday routine to wash your hands thoroughly! 🙌

Last week Nursery listened to The 3 Billy Goats Gruff before creating their own goats, trolls and acting out the story in provision. Fantastic, fun learning! 🐐

Year 6 hit the ground running last week helping PC Ruth and PCSOs Sofia & Ronnie in their Community Road Watch near school! Measuring speeds and stopping those going over 20mph. Great work children & Lancashire Police

Who’s your favourite historical person??? In History day last term staff dressed as Victorians, children chose their favourite era & we even had our own Museum in the Hall! Making learning fun !

Yesterday was Dinosaur Lunch Day so we did it in EM style and we dressed in dinosaur themed and learnt about them too! Why not! 🦖🦕🦖

And all of a sudden it was Wednesday! Before our intrepid adventurers returned though they squeezed in some more fun with orienteering, abseiling and tree climbing! Judging from the sleeping beauties coming home I think it’s fair to say a magnificent time was had by all at The Anderton Centre!skills for life in independence, resilience, friendships. Thank you to Mrs A, Miss P, Mrs A & MrLL for making it such a fab trip! Children, you made us all proud!

Yesterday the happy adventurers had breakfast, some tree climbing & axe throwing 😳 before getting back out on the water! Think it was a bit much for Mr L and he needed his eye mask! The Anderton Centre

Last Thursday Mrs Ridings & Mrs Ahmed took 10 of our amazing engineers to University of Lancashire to see their shortlisted designs for Primary Engineer! They had a good look at designs and even had a go in a flight stimulator! Wow!! 🌟🌟
