💻📱 This month’s theme is Online Scams & Digital Footprints.
Our latest video gives a quick but important overview of the online scams that can target young people and why it’s so important to think carefully about our digital footprints.
In today’s digital world, helping children stay safe online is more important than ever. By learning how to spot scams and understanding that everything we post online can leave a lasting impression, we can empower young people to make safe and positive choices online. 🌟
We encourage families to watch together and continue these important conversations at home.

Despite a wet and soggy start to the morning, four of our Year 5 children represented our school brilliantly at a Crown Green Bowling competition in New Longton.

We are so proud of the fantastic teamwork they showed throughout the event, along with the kindness, support and excellent sportsmanship they demonstrated towards the other schools taking part.

To top it all off, they achieved an incredible 🥈 2nd place overall! What a fantastic achievement — well done to you all!

Good luck to all of our amazing Year 6 children as you begin your SATs next week! 🌟

Your Reception buddies wanted to send lots of smiles, encouragement and good luck wishes your way. They think you are all superstars and love looking up to you each day. 💙

Year 6, we are already so proud of everything you have achieved. You have worked incredibly hard, shown resilience, kindness and determination, and continue to let your light shine for all to see every single day. ✨

Our EYFS and Key Stage 1 after school art club has been full of creativity, imagination and inspiration over the past few weeks. 🎨✨
The children have explored a range of different media each week, experimenting with new techniques and materials to create their own unique pieces of artwork. From careful sketching to colourful mixed media creations, every child approached each session with incredible focus, enthusiasm and pride in their work.
It has been wonderful to see their confidence grow as they expressed themselves creatively, supported one another and brought their artistic ideas to life. We are so proud of the concentration, resilience and creativity shown by all of our young artists!

It’s been an exciting first week back and what a fantastic start to the term! It has been such a pleasure walking around school and seeing all the brilliant learning taking place in every classroom.

Today in particular, it was wonderful to see so much creative writing happening across the school. The children were eager to share their work and talk about their ideas – their enthusiasm and pride really shone through.

We are incredibly proud of all our children and the care, effort and pride they put into everything they do. What a great start—well done everyone!

🎤🌟 Year 4 Shine at Let’s Go Sing! 🌟🎤

Last week, our Year 4 children took to the stage at the Let’s Go Sing event at the Blackburn Ice Arena — and they were absolutely incredible!

They performed with such confidence and enthusiasm, clearly enjoying every moment and showcasing all the hard work they’ve put into learning the songs. They were a real credit to our school, and we couldn’t have been prouder.

A big thank you to all the parents and carers who came to watch — we’re sure you’ll agree it was a huge success and a very special experience for everyone involved. 👏🎶

Year 1 had a fantastic time during The Great Fire of London workshop on Wednesday! The children travelled back in time to 1666, where they explored how people lived and how their homes were built.

They were then given the challenge of rebuilding the city using only two materials. The real test came when the rain arrived — everyone had to work together to keep Thomas the Baker dry! ☔🏠

The children showed great teamwork, creativity, and enthusiasm throughout the workshop. We are so proud of how hard everyone has worked this week. Well done, Year 1! 🌟👏

What an unforgettable evening at Young Voices at the Co-op Live Arena! 🎶

Our children were absolutely incredible from start to finish. Their enthusiasm, confidence and beautiful singing filled the arena and made us all so proud. Performing alongside so many other schools was an amazing experience and one the children will remember for a long time.

A huge well done to every child involved for representing our school so brilliantly, and thank you to the staff and families who helped make this opportunity possible. What a night!
