To mark the centenary of the first expedition to Mount Everest, our historian Dr Jonathan Westaway has collaborated with the National Trust to co-design a free exhibition.
Starting on 8 June, it will Royal Geographical Society archive photography to tell the forgotten story of the Sherpas who worked on the mountain.
