𝑵𝒆𝒘 𝑩𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒔 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒔 𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒗𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆

Last Thursday saw our first Evening Class for Beginning Bridge and by the end of the session all of my students played up to 8 hands of MiniBridge in Not Trumps - literally playing for tricks without a trump suit.

Already I could see some of the personality of each player coming forth. Some are caution but others throw caution to the wind and it is this ability to play how you want to play that makes Bridge so endearing.

The psychology of 2 pairs playing against each other while each still needing to communicate individually with their partner makes for interesting play - that mix of cooperation and competition that is fundamental in every hand of Bridge.

The good news is that there are still places available on 12/05/2022 and if you want to come along and have a look see at what it takes to start bridge then please be there at 6.50pm in The Wilson Room at Broughton and District Club PR3 5DA

Bridge is so absorbing that you leave your worries behind you. Since you have to concentrate on the game, all the other things on your mind will be forgotten.

Why not enjoy a bit of escapism......

Once you learn bridge, you will never be bored again. You can play bridge whenever you want. The best place to play bridge is in a bridge club, but you can also play online, without a partner, and at your own pace, for example with Funbridge.

Sadly there is no face to face club bridge due to Covid 19 at the moment and so just make the best of what Learn Bridge Online has to offer.......
