Schools Out at Whitefield

04/10/2026

✨ What a busy week for Schools Out! ✨
We’ve had another week full of creativity, imagination and lots of fun! 💛
🏰 We’ve been putting our imaginations to work with our new dungeon and castle LEGO set, creating some fantastic builds and adventures along the way!
🩷 We also made some new playdough… although we have to admit, it looked very questionable at first! 😂 Thankfully, the girls got creative and worked their magic, transforming it into something much more dough-like and ready for play! 🎨✨
🎄 We’ve also made an early start on our Christmas cards! We know it might seem a little early, but we want to make sure we have plenty of time for all the cards to be finished, sent off and processed before Christmas, ready to make their way home to all our lovely parents and carers. ❤️
🌻 And finally, we got creative with some sunflower pictures using bottle caps — turning everyday items into something bright and beautiful!
Another week of creating, building, experimenting and having lots of fun together! 🌈
Have a lovely weekend! 💕

We have been working on the Harry Potter Scarecrow helping school get ready for the Penwortham in bloom trail! He looks fab! Hanging from his broomstick….

What a busy and brilliant time we’ve had at Afterschool Club! 🌟

We’ve been getting creative with all sorts of materials — making slides from crates and other recycled bits, creating a very mysterious scarecrow for the Penwortham Scarecrow Competition (🤫 all will be revealed next week!), making some seriously long loop bands, and crafting our very own frogs out of card! 🐸

The weather might not always have been on our side, but that certainly hasn’t stopped us having an absolute blast! ☔️🌈

We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been creating… especially that scarecrow! 👀🎃

The first week of a new school year is always full of excitement, new routines and, of course, a few challenges along the way, but we couldn’t be prouder of how brilliantly the children have handled it! 💛
We’ve kept busy with plenty of fun at afterschool club, from decorating biscuits 🍪 and building super-tall towers 🏗️, to dressing up in some rather questionable outfits 😂 and getting creative with the equipment to build our very own race tracks 🏎️🏁.

There have been lots of smiles, laughter, creativity and some fantastic teamwork along the way. It’s been lovely to see everyone settling back in, making new memories and supporting one another.

Well done, everyone you’ve absolutely smashed your first week back! 🌟👏
