Clever Ending Stories

I’m so glad I managed to catch this wonderful moment yesterday at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School Wrightington
I had asked the children to have a quick team talk before we played our final matches.
When I looked around, I saw this team having a proper team huddle, chatting about what they could do and encouraging each other.

It really made me smile and showed how PE, sport and movement can help the children develop and grow in so many ways ❤️

Using our 'squiggle patch' to transform some giant sea turtles this week!

We were all covered in chalk but look at all the fine and gross muscle movement taking place!!

Making giant waves with our rainbow ribbons, collecting bouncy turtle eggs and some amazing attacking and defending in our shark attack game!
We even had a bit of time to play DJ Danny's favourite game of head-catch ♡

This week was all about the dinosaurs!

We were inspired by The Girl and the Dinosaur by Hollie Hughes...
Amazing teamwork shown by these year one superstars when they were hunting for dinosaur bones, just like Marianne ♡

In Reception, we explored the story ‘Wanted: The Perfect Pet’.
The children did an amazing job, completing the different fundamental movement challenges based around the book.

I loved listening to their ideas about what their perfect pets would be 🐶🦁🐵🐍🐉🐯🐰
