A huge thank you to local author Joanne Moore, author of ‘The Bit Different Collection’ for visiting us this week.

As part of our learning with our older children, we discuss the important features of books, including the author, illustrator, and blurb, and how these help us when sharing stories with our children.

The children were absolutely delighted to meet a real-life author and were especially excited to meet the creator of ‘Bertie the Very Blind Bat’. It was a wonderful opportunity to inspire a love of reading and storytelling.

Thank you, Joanne, for sharing your time, enthusiasm, and amazing stories with us. The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience💜

Just look at our little explorers using their feet to create colourful masterpieces, squishing, stamping, and giggling their way through the paint. Sensory play like this helps build confidence, creativity, and coordination while making wonderful memories along the way. 💜
